Our History
Thin Line Outfitting, formerly known by various names, has a rich history that spans several years. Our journey began in Farming Simulator 2013 when Jesse, our founder, was first introduced to the Farming Simulator Franchise. In the early days, mods were simply edits of existing modifications, and our initial creations were rough and unpolished. The reception from the community was lukewarm, with feedback urging Jesse to abandon modding altogether. Even a prominent Youtuber at the time gave our mods a less than stellar review.
Undeterred by the criticism, Jesse persevered. In this period, he created the "Sunrise Modding" Facebook group, though emergency vehicle mods were not yet a focus. Instead, the emphasis was on learning and refining mods, particularly for pickup trucks. During the Sunrise era, Jesse developed friendships with some of the early team members who shared his passion.
In mid-2017, Jesse received an invitation to join a firefighting role-play group for Farming Simulator 17. This led to a close friendship with the group's owner, Rylan, and eventually, Jesse became part of their modding team. Rylan approached Jesse with the idea of acquiring a 3D model of a fire truck for the group. Despite having no prior experience with FS 17 mods or creating a Tiller, Jesse agreed to take on the challenge. After months of dedication, brainstorming, and experimentation, Jesse successfully crafted a fully functional Tiller for FS 17.
Impressed by Jesse's remarkable achievement, Rylan and Jesse decided to embark on a modding journey together, leading to the creation of R&R Apparatus Outfitters. This was the first incarnation of what would eventually become Thin Line Outfitting. The R&R era was a busy and productive time, with many of the mods we offer today originating during this period.
After a successful run as R&R Apparatus Outfitters, Rylan decided to pursue other endeavors, and Jesse carried the torch forward, renaming the team to Red Line Emergency Outfitting (RLEO). Jesse continued to expand the modding library and foster a vibrant community. During this phase, new friendships were formed, and the foundation of our current administration team began to take shape.
As our journey progressed, we made one final transition, culminating in our current name, Thin Line Outfitting. Throughout our evolution, we have remained committed to our passion for creating top-notch emergency vehicle mods. Today, our mods boast exceptional quality, including realistic features such as working emergency lights, sirens, openable doors, and even sprayable fire hoses.
We are proud of our growth and the friendships we have forged along the way.
